Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi

Arrival in Hanoi, you will check into the Hotel. The rest of the day for rest after your flight

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour

The day begins with visits to the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, followed by a stop at the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university. You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and have lunch at a local restaurant serving Vietnamese cuisine. Afterward, you will take a leisurely cyclo tour around the city's historic sites. You will have a free evening and dinner.

Day 3 Ninh Binh

Departing from Hanoi, the journey continues to Ninh Binh, known as "Halong Bay on land" for its breathtaking karst landscape. You will settle into the eco-friendly Resort & Spa before embarking on a boat ride along the Tam Coc River, passing through limestone caves and rice paddies. Breakfast and dinner will be provided at the resort, with lunch enjoyed during the boat ride excursion.

Day 4 Explore Ninh Binh

Today's adventure unfolds in Cuc Phuong National Park, one of Vietnam's largest national parks and a haven for biodiversity. You will enjoy breakfast at the resort before embarking on a guided hike through the park's lush forests. Lunch will be a picnic amidst the natural beauty of the park, and you will have a free evening, allowing you to unwind and reflect on the day's experiences.

Day 5 Halong Bay

Leaving Ninh Binh behind, your journey to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning limestone islands.  The perfect way to see this UNESCO World Heritage site is to spend a night aboard on cruise.

Upon arrival, welcome at the pier to check and transfer to your boat.

Journey along the spectacular limestone island, floating village while having seafood lunch , then disembark to visit ‘Surprising Cave, one of the most beautiful  Cave  in HaLong Bay . The next stop is Ti Top Island where you could swim on a sandy beach or climb   up to the top for a panoramic  view. .

Day 6 Halong Bay - Hue

Following a morning Tai Chi session on the deck of the cruise ship, you continue your exploration of Ha long Bay before returning to Hanoi. From there, a flight takes you to the historic city of Hue. The eclectic and mesmerizing tombs and mausoleums of the last emperors of Vietnam reveal fascinating insights into the lives of the imperial families and their subjects. The ancient citadel reflects the pomp and ceremony of the dynastic rulers as well as the scars of many years of turmoil, both ancient and modern (the Royal Citadel was badly damaged in the latter stages of the war) but retains a sense of grace and majesty even today.

Arrive in Hue you are met by our local guide and transfer to hotel

Following departure to the Mausoleum of Tu Duc, built decades before its occupant's death the tomb was used as a palace retreat before the emperors resting place.

Finish up the day at Khai Dinh’s Tomb which is traditional Vietnamese in design with a European touch making it unique from the other tombs in Hue.

Day 7 Hue City Tour

After breakfast start by taking a leisurely boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, constructed in 1601, the 21-meter-tall tower is the centerpiece of the pagoda.

Continue to The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, or as an option the mausoleum of the former emperor Minh Mang which is in a tranquil setting of gardens and ponds. After exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument depart for lunch to try some renowned Hue cuisine.

Day 8 Hoi An

Departing from Hue, you travel to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its well-preserved ancient town. Check-in at your Hotel and lunch at local restaurant.

Day 9 Hoi An Eco Tour

Start the day with a visit a local and traditional village to learn about traditional agriculture and participate in a cooking class. Enjoy lunch you prepared with the chef. In the afternoon, explore walking Hoi An's ancient streets, including the Japanese Covered Bridge and a Chinese communal house. End the day with the Memory Show Hoi An, a traditional performance with light and music.

Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City

Departure from Danang Airport to Tan Son Airport for flight Danang to Saigon You are met at by our local guide and transfer to your hotel.

In the afternoon we will explore Vietnam's largest and busiest city with a visit to the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral, a beautiful neo-Romanesque Basilica built by the French in the late 19th century.

Central Post Office: One of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City and the busiest post office in Vietnam. Admire its neoclassical architecture and painted maps of Saigon from a bygone era.

Following to visit War Museum, offers visitors a deep insight into the sacrifices, struggles, and resilience of the Vietnamese people during times of conflict through its extensive collection of artifacts, photographs, and personal stories.

Enjoy AO Show, the cultural show must – see in Sai Gon. the Vietnamese Bamboo Circus—a rustic symphony of the Vietnamese countryside mixed with the vibrant, contemporary melodies of urban Vietnam.

Day 11 Cu Chi Tunnel

In the morning, embark in a speedboat to Cu Chi Tunnel a network of underground tunnels that were used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. You will learn about the history of the tunnels and how they were used by the Vietnamese people to fight against the Americans.

We will bring you back to your hotel and rest of day at leisure.

Day 12 Full day Mekong Delta

After driving 2,5 -hours from Ho Chi Minh cruise the many tributaries of the Mekong to visit Cai Be floating market, wonder through vibrant tropical fruit gardens as well as visiting home cottage industries making ‘pop’ rice.

The tour begins with a visit of Cai Be where you can walk around the orchard & enjoy some fruits when listening to the traditional music at local garden. Next the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals to enjoy the peaceful time. Back to boat to go across one of the longest rivers in the world, Mekong River, to come to An Bình Island . After lunch, you can walk in the local village to visit the local workshop to see how to make rice paper, coconut candy, pop-rice... Enjoy some sweets with a cup of hot tea.

Visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. The cruise will end at Vinh Long city where your bus is waiting to transfer back to city.

Day 13 Departure from Ho Chi Minh City

You can enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and transferring to the airport for departure, concluding their sustainable and eco-friendly journey through Vietnam from north to south.

The best time to visit Vietnam

If you want to visit Vietnam, you might be wondering what the weather is like in different months. Well, it depends on where you go and what you want to do. Vietnam has a diverse climate, so there is no one-size-fits-all answer. But don’t worry, I’ll give you a general overview of what to expect in each month, based on the average weather patterns. You can also check out the holidays and events that happen in each month in Vietnam.

January
This is a good month to enjoy the dry and pleasant weather in most parts of Vietnam, except for the north. The north can get quite cold, especially in the morning and evening. You might need some warm clothes and jackets if you go to places like Sapa and Ha Giang. If you’re looking for some beach time, head to Phu Quoc, where the sun is always shining. Just be aware that Halong Bay can be foggy this month, so you might not see the best views.

February
The weather gets warmer in most of Vietnam, except for the north, which still feels chilly. This is a high season for tourism, so expect more crowds and higher prices. But it’s also a great time to experience the TET festival, which is the Vietnamese New Year. It’s a big celebration with lots of food, fireworks, and fun. Just keep in mind that many shops, museums, and restaurants are closed for about a week during TET.

March
This is one of the best months to visit Vietnam, as the weather is fantastic everywhere. You have more options for beach destinations, such as Mui Ne, Con Dao, and Nha Trang. Hoi An is also a lovely place to enjoy the beach and the old town. This is also a great time to visit Halong Bay, which should have clear blue skies and no fog.

April
Like March, April is another great month to visit Vietnam, with amazing weather everywhere. This is also a high season for tourism, so be prepared for more crowds and higher prices.

May
The weather gets hotter in May, but it’s still a good time to visit Vietnam before the rainy season starts. You might get some rain in the north and south by the end of the month, but nothing too serious. You can also take advantage of the lower prices after the high season.

June
You might get some rain in the north and south of Vietnam, but it’s usually not too bad. You can still enjoy the sunny days in Hanoi, Mai Chau, and Halong Bay. The best place to be is in central Vietnam, where the weather is still dry and sunny. You can relax on the beaches of Lang Co and Hoi An, or explore the countryside and culture. This is also a good time to travel before the school holidays start next month.

July
Central Vietnam is still the best place to be in July, with lots of sunshine and little rain. The rest of Vietnam might have some showers, but they won’t ruin your fun.

August
Central Vietnam is still a good place to visit in August, although you might get some more rain by the end of the month. The rest of Vietnam might also have some rain, but it’s not too bad. You can also enjoy some discounts on flights and hotels during the low season.

September
This is a good month to catch the last sun on the central coast of Vietnam before it gets too rainy. The north and south are usually very wet this month, but you can still find some bargains on hotels.

October
The weather gets better in the north of Vietnam in October, and this is a great time to visit places like Sapa or Ha Giang. You can admire the stunning scenery of rice terraces, valleys, and mountains that change color with the seasons. You can also hike, bike, or stay with the local people who live there. This is not a good month for beach lovers, but Vietnam has so much more to offer than just beaches. And traveling in October means you avoid the crowds.

November
The high season starts again in November, as many people come to Vietnam for the cooler winter months in the north. By the end of the month, most of Vietnam is hot and dry again, except for the central region, which might have some rain.

December
There is still a chance of rain in the central part of Vietnam in December; however, most of Vietnam is hot and dry again. The beach season starts again on Phu Quoc island. You should book early for Christmas time, as it can get very busy.
